Hi, I’m Bethany Faden, owner and professional dog trainer at Be the Boss Dog Training. For years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping dogs and their owners build stronger relationships through balanced training, clear communication, and responsible canine stewardship.
My passion extends beyond training—I’m equally committed to preserving the Standard Poodle through ethical breeding practices. Every decision I make, from selecting breeding pairs to completing comprehensive health testing, is guided by the goal of producing healthy, stable, and well-rounded dogs that excel as family companions, working dogs, and performance partners.

Beginning his show career in 2023, Odo quickly proved himself as a competitive male, earning his first Best Male win with 15 points. Over the following seasons, he continued to build an impressive record with consistent placements and championship-point wins.

We believe responsible breeding starts with objective, evidence-based health evaluations. That’s why Odo has completed a PennHIP assessment to evaluate the health and stability of his hips.
PennHIP is one of the most advanced methods available for measuring hip joint laxity—the looseness of the hip joint—which is one of the strongest predictors of a dog’s lifetime risk for developing hip dysplasia. By providing an objective measurement, PennHIP helps breeders make informed decisions that support healthier bloodlines and improve the long-term soundness of future generations.
